Hydraulic cylinder repair machine - Hydraulic cylinder repair bench
This is the absolute best machine in the world
for handling small and medium-sized cylinders
up to about 300 mm.
Our customers who bought this machine overjoyed
that they bought this machine.
“Best investment ever” We usually call and ask our customers who bought
the machine and they usually answer why we have
not had this machine before, it saves lots of time
and broken hook spanners.
Description of the machine
This machine is intended for all handling of small and medium-sized
hydraulic cylinders. It has very great potential for variations in use.
Cylinders to be disassembled with "locking ring nut" turn the piston
rod end to the left and pull out the piston roda piece and leave the
cylinder on support jacks. Attach the cylinder side to the large chuck.
Then mount the 2 push pins on the support dockin the tool track of
the support dock. After the outer locking ring has been removed press
with the axial movement against the top nut and if it does not want
to release, it may need a blow with a small sledgehammer. Cylinders
that have a cylinder head with treads, turn the top nut to the right
and then usethe self-tensioning large chuck. You can start with rotation
on the chuck and if it does not have the strength you can drive with
power rotation and when it loosens continues with rotation.
The machine in general can be used in many different ways and
the only onethe limitation is your own imagination.
When loosening piston nuts on f.ex. Caterpillar piston rods then you
can attach the link head to the support dock and then usethe cones
and standard jaws in the chuck.
In order to be able to unscrew nut on piston rods more quickly, you
can order nut grips which you fasten in the chuck.
These plates are cut out with a cnc-controlled plasma
cutter and can be ordered with different grip widths
from us.
When you have assembled a cylinder, you want to test printand
therefore there are 2 hoses 6 m with quick couplings and nipples and
you can then connect the quick couplings with the supplied nipples
½ ”or 3/8” R-thread. The test pressure is maxed out with the pressure
given by the hydraulic unit.If you want to test print with higher pressure,
it is recommended a hand pump of some kind that is also switched
on quick coupling.
For collecting waste oil, the machine has a collection tray which goes
on wheels and in addition there is a connection for any drain pump.
The machine can also be equipped with an extension part that can
mounted on the frame beam to be able to handle extra long cylinders.
There are some standard tools for the support dock. Cones for
gripping link heads and toothed grips for different purposes,
e.g. taps to push in “locking ring nut”.You can also find your
own accessories for different grips.
The stroke of the support manikin is as long as the machine butthe
stroke of the cylinder that pulls the beam is 700 mm.You must
therefore make a "retake" with the pins that are on eachside of
the support dock when you can no longer get there.
The support jacks also have pins that lock against the beam to be
able to follow when disassembling and assembling cylinders.
